About Us
Lancaster Bats has many years' experience with bat habitats, from winter hibernation checks to national bat monitoring surveys. We work across private, commercial and non-profit projects, including churches, country house estates, woodlands and forestry, as well as major infrastructure developments.
Lancaster Bats was founded by Will Walton after 25 years in arboriculture. We specialise in bat tree surveys, tree climbing and night vision monitoring with infrared and thermal cameras. Will holds Bat Licences with Natural England (Level 2) and NatureScot.
We are based in the North West of England and will travel across the UK depending on the needs of the contract.
This is a rescue bat being fed to gain weight so that it can be successfully released back to the wild.
If you find a bat then its best to contact the Bat Conservation Trust.
